Monument des Diables Bleus
The Monument des Diables Bleus (Blue Devils) is a work of Parisian sculptors Vermare and Moreau-Vauthier in memory of French hunters (World War I of 1914-1918) which is located at Grand Ballon in Alsace, France. It consists of a granite pyramid and a bronze statue bearing the image of a Chasseur Alpin. The Blue Devils Monument was raised in memory of the Alpine troops who managed who fought among the peaks of the Vosges throughout the war at the cost of significant sacrifices.
