The Explorers
In Corsica, Montemaggiore is a small village in the Balagne region. It is located at the foot of the Monte Grosso, on a rocky peak of nearly 400 m (1,312 ft) high. Its old, narrow houses are built around a baroque church from the 18th century. Since 1972, it is part of the municipality of Montegrosso with the villages of Lunghignano and Cassano.
