Moirans-en-Montagne, the French capital of wooden toys

0
Located at the crossroads of eight lakes and several archaeological sites in the heart of the landscapes of the ‘Pays des Lacs et de la Petite Montagne’, the small town of Moirans-en-Montagne in the Jura department is above all known for being the French capital of wooden toys. Stemming from a long history of the toy industry and wood turning, this territory in southern Jura hosts a Toy Museum which bears witness to the region's specialization from the mid-19th century.
