Moerai, sites and vestiges
0
0
Moerai offers several sites and vestiges of its past. Among them, a picturesque Protestant temple set back from the harbor and, on the mountain side, in the cemetery, the tomb of the most famous resident of the island, the French administrator Eric de Bisschop. One can also see a coral lime kiln still used to repaint the facades of the houses and the tomb of the kings of Rurutu in the heart of a private property.
