The Cornille Havard foundry is the heir to a long tradition of bell founders established in Villedieu-les-Poêles since the end of the Middle Ages. The methods used to make the bells have remained traditional, the molds are made with a wooden template using clay and horse dung. However, if the gestures remain ancestral, the profiles of the bells are calculated in CAD, the templates are cut with a laser, the sound is checked using an electronic spectrum analyzer.
