Located in mid-mountain, the landscapes of the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park are renowned for their softness, their wavy lines, their accessible points of view and their open spaces punctuated by isolated constructions. Resulting from a combination between the original relief of this region, its climate and its vegetation cover, they present different emblematic figures of slightly marked summit folds covered with high altitude pastures alternating with spruce forests dotted with beeches, ridges, medium altitude plateaus, steep-sided valleys, gorges and waterfalls.
