Michel Bianconi is the heir to a long line of master soap makers and the guarantor of the craftsmanship of the Fer-à-Cheval soap factory. A worker in the soap industry for 43 years, he left school at 14 and started in the soap factory at 17 in the footsteps of his father, who was then employed by the company Le Chat. It is this lineage which gave him access to the jealously guarded secret of soap making.
