The territory marking
1
0
The territory marking is an important way to communicate for cheetahs, and especially for males. They do it by spraying urine and leaving feces on key locations, such as tree trunks, termite mounds or rocks, but also rubbing their head on it. Males use these marks to tell competitors that the territory is occupied.
