Acraea serena, la acraea bailarina, es una mariposa de la familia Nymphalidae. Se encuentra en toda África al sur del Sahara. Es el más común de Acraea, desde Dakar hasta Fort-Dauphin y desde Yemen a El Cabo.
Esta es la especie tipo del antiguo tipo telchinia, y que justifica la separación como acraea. Erróneamente antes se le calificó y clasificó como la pequeña acraea naranja o eponina.
