Walk of caribous
During the day, the reindeer is almost constantly on the move. As it walks, the reindeer produces a characteristic clicking sound caused by a tendon in the foot slipping over the bone. This clicking sound can be heard at 100 meters around. At a run, the reindeer can reach speeds of 50 to 40 miles (60 to 80 kilometers) per hour.
