Marc Chagall's signature

Marc Chagall's signature is practically the same on his lithographs and his paintings. It is underlined and easily legible. On his stained-glass windows and sculptures, only the name appears with the same lettering but without the bar underneath. However, Chagall's most significant signature remains the unique use of colors specific to his work. Sketches of his stained-glass windows associated with other works are on display at the Centre Pompidou-Metz.
