A 2 pas de la gare de Lyon, une petite rue aux façades de maisons colorées. Cette ruelle a été ouverte en 1865 et elle prit son nom actuel à la fin du XIXème siècle, hommage à Adolphe Crémieux, auteur en 1870 du décret qui porte son nom et qui octroya la citoyenneté française aux juifs d'Algérie.
