Madulain is a municipality in the Maloja Region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The town is first mentioned around 1138 as Madulene. Madulain has an area of 16.28 square kilometers. Of this area, about 31 % is used for agricultural purposes, while 15 % is forested. Of the rest of the land, 3 % is settled by buildings or roads and 53 % is unproductive land. The municipality has a railway station, Madulain, on the Bever–Scuol-Tarasp line of the Rhaetian Railway. It has regular service to St. Moritz, Landquart, Scuol-Tarasp, and Pontresina.
