Light in the Arctic's sky
1
0
Due to the Earth's rotation and inclination, the sun illuminates the Arctic in a very different way according to the time of year. In the summer, the sun never sets fully: this endless sunshine is called midnight sun or polar day and produces incredible landscapes. In contrast, this region is plunged into a dark and icy night during long winter months.
