Longemer's lake from summer to winter

During summer, the lake of Longemer is sought-after by fishermen. Some would say that they are eager to capture a particular fish. A majestuous pike was indeed supposedly caught there by Charlemagne and released in the water with a golden bell tied to its neck. Winter, however, brings another atmosphere, and the glacial cirque regains some calm and thickness. The heavy fir trees stretch out their branches, and the Saint-Jacques stream struggles to flow to the lake.
