Liturgical cast model

Liturgical art has borrowed a lot from bronze throughout history. Original plaster molds, remarkably preserved, are on display in the former foundry of Dommartin-le-Franc, along with a rare collection. Some 650 art cast models signed by a hundred 19th-century sculptors are exposed at the Conservatory of Metallurgical Arts that extends in the factory. First executed in clay, they are testament to the artists who created them.
