These lion cubs and their mother so thirsty that they went out of their shaded place to drink from the Black iMfolozi River in the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park of South Africa. We came around the corner and kept quiet as they almost ran away seeing us. They observed us cautiously keeping their eyes on us while drinking. It moment lasted a good while and with their bellies full of fresh water they slowly went back into the shade to nap again.
