The essential tool holder

On a wood lathe, the tool used by the turner must imperatively be placed on a tool holder which helps the craftsman to counter the cutting force. As the cutting point varies according to the tool used and its thickness, the height and orientation of the tool holder in relation to the axis of the lathe are easily adjustable thanks to a locking screw which just needs to be loosened .
