The islet of Tibarama is the most popular of the fifty or so dive sites in Poindimié, on the east coast of Grande-Terre and the only place in New Caledonia where the very discreet ribbon moray eel can be observed. In snorkeling, scuba diving or night diving, one can also see giant sea fans (photo) and pygmy seahorses.
