The draft line of a dog team takes on different shapes depending on the number of dogs. In teams of more than two dogs like this one, it consists of three elements : the central line which represents the spine of the team to which are connected the neck line - which helps to keep the dogs in tandem side by side - and the tail line, which allows them to be attached and to tow the sled.
