Opened in 1974, the highest hotel skyscraper in Paris was named the Concorde La Fayette Hotel in homage to the Franco-American friendship. In February 2013, it was sold to a management company controlled by investors from Qatar. Constellation Hotels Holdings entrusts the management of the hotel to the American chain Hyatt, which renames it Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile. The 995 room and suite hotel is located at Porte Maillot, in the 17th arrondissement, next to the Palais des Congrès, which includes auditoriums, exhibition areas, and a shopping mall. The building measures 190 metres with its antenna, spread over 34 floors.
