Cheetahs vocalisations
Unlike lions or leopards, cheetahs do not roar. Indeed, they belong to a proper genus, called Acinonyx. However, they are able to use various forms of vocalisations to communicate, such as growls, coughs or even specific hisses that sound like a bird call. When they feel good, they may purr very loudly.
