The vineyards and wines of Collobrières

Surrounded by vineyards, the village of Collobrières has the authorization to produce wines of Côtes-de-Provence, Maures, Méditerranée, and Var designations. Côtes-de-Provence is a French AOC and a European PDO label whose wines are produced in the vineyards of Provence and Corsica. Their terroir, dominated by rosés, benefits from a Mediterranean climate. The other three designations are European IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) labels replacing the VDP (Vin De Pays) label since 2009. They respectively bear the mentions zone, régional, and départemental.
