The Three Corniches

Two of the three corniches that run along the Mediterranean between Nice and Menton are visible in this photo taken near Èze-village, whose Pont du Diable (Devil's Bridge) appears on the right. They first form three distinct routes from Nice, then the Moyenne Corniche and the Basse Corniche meet after Monaco Monte-Carlo and merge with the Grande Corniche before Cap Martin. At the other end, a single road starts from Menton and splits to give birth to the Grande Corniche first and then the Moyenne Corniche.
