The public thermal baths of La Villasse

In the La Villasse district of the ancient Roman city of Vasio (Vaison-la-Romaine), the public baths stood opposite the Maison au Buste en Argent (Silver Bust House). Their access was marked by the Arch of the Central Baths of Vasio Vocontiorum visible in this photo. Taking the Rue des Boutiques (Shops Street) from the entrance to the site, visitors can now observe the thermal baths on the left - of which we only see the large hall and the latrines - and the Maison au Buste en Argent on the right.
