Risks of ejection
0
0
One of the risks of woodturning is the ejection of a piece of wood which has suffered splinters, i.e. the accidental tearing of material from its surface, or whose structure is not healthy. This problem resulting from poorly conducted machining, unsuitable screwing or shocks related to an improper handling can cause the piece to be ejected while rotating. It then becomes an extremely dangerous projectile for the turner who must at least protect his head and face with safety cap and glasses.
