The four ports of Antibes
0
0
Even though Port Vauban is the best known and the most important of the ports of Antibes, the city comprises four main marinas. In addition, it also houses the shelter of the Olivette on the west coast of Cap d'Antibes, used for boat mooring from May to October. Antibes' other major port is Port Gallice, located at the western base of Cap d'Antibes, about 3.1 mi (5 km) from the bay of Golfe-Juan, opposite Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat islands. The other two, Port de La Salis, which has two fixed dykes and three floating docks, and Port du Croûton with pontoons reserved for less than 32 ft (10 m) long boats, are of lesser importance.
