Harvesting is an agricultural work which consists of collecting the grapes at maturity. Maturity is reached when the grain gets its maximum size and contains the perfect dosage of sugar. Several tools are needed for harvesting work. The secateurs are used to cut the bunches which hang vertically. The cut bunches are placed in baskets or buckets. The pruners, older instruments are less used, but remain a traditional tool of the grape pickers.
