The origins of the Blanc manade
0
0
The origins of the current Blanc manade of the Domaine de Paulon date back to 1931 when Jean Thibaud created his manade (herd) and settled in Saliers near Saint-Gilles. In 1975, Daniel and Paulette Thibaud shared their grandparents' manade. Paulette, married to Alain Lebret, founded the Lebret-Thibaud manade with him. At that time, Jean-Claude Blanc (photo) owned his own horse farm and actively participated in the life of various farms, particularly with his neighbors, the Lebret's. In 1998, Alain Lebret, who had no children, quite logically proposed to Jean-Claude Blanc to take over his manade.
