The ochres of Luberon
0
0
The ochres of Luberon are spread over three main sites distant by a dozen miles (20 km). Rustrel constitutes the largest of the massif, Gargas is located about 9.3 miles (15 km) away, and Roussillon extends 3.7 miles (6 km) farther than Gargas. The Gargas site is the only one today to allow visitors to discover the work of ochres extraction through a 2,132 feet (650 meters) route inside the deposits.
