The Drakensberg mountains, here in the background, cross the eastern part of South Africa over a thousand kilometers. It culminates at 11423ft (3482m) in Lesotho. In the South African bush and southern Africa, there are also many kopjes, these rocky formations born from erosion, prized by local flora and fauna, like here in the forefront.
