Famous for howling up to ninety decibels, the black howler monkey (Alouatta caraya) has hands and feet with opposable thumbs that allow it to move through trees by grasping branches and to pick and pluck its food made of foliage, fruits and stems.In addition to them, it has a long prehensile tail with no hair on the inside which also gives it a very good grip on branches.
