With more than 250 foundry and forge machines, the Conservatoire des arts de la métallurgie (Conservatory for the Arts of Metallurgy) concentrates the memory of the Haute-Marne and illustrates a remarkable human and industrial adventure. The Conservatory is located in an ancient foundry in Dommartin-le-Franc, closed in 1992.
