Considered a refined material, linen is known for its solidity. It is due to the remarkable properties of its fibers, the strongest among vegetable fibers, especially when they are wet. Flax has the longest vegetable fiber (2.6 ft / 80 cm) compared to cotton (1 ft / 30 cm). Fabrics made from linen fibers are, therefore, much more resistant to wear and would warp much less over time. Wash after wash, linen fibers keep a silky appearance and a pleasant touch. Norman fibers are highly valued worldwide for their strength, flexibility, and incomparable quality.
