The fishing village of Yport in Normandy has today become one of the smallest seaside resorts on the Alabaster Coast. Nestled in a Normandy valley, Yport keeps the memory of the sailors of the region and of the sea trips for cod fishing. This fishing was done using dories, those American boats that were used to leave the beach and then were stacked on the decks of the main boats.
