Rachid Khimoune, artiste plasticien, expose ses sculptures depuis 1975. Il est Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur depuis 2007.
Sa série de sculptures « Les enfants du Monde » a été installée au pied de la Cité des 4 Tours au Blanc Mesnil en 1985.
Ces personnages, conçus comme des plaques d’égout moulées en élastomère, représentent des gamins des 4 coins du monde.
