The various uses of ocher
0
0
The ocher produced in the Luberon region is used as a dye in many sectors. In the construction industry, it serves for coloring plasters, whitewashes, concrete, paints, tiles, and terracotta. Ocher colors fertilizers in agriculture, while it constitutes the coloring base for powders and makeup in cosmetics. The colored sands of ocher residues are also used to cover electric or telecommunication cables in trenches.
