The two terroirs of Château Malherbe
0
0
The wine-growing estate of Château Malherbe in Bormes-les-Mimosas in the Var department covers 64 acres (26 ha), 40 acres (20 ha) of which are in production. The domain is divided into two very distinct terroirs. The smaller and more recent terroir of La Pointe du Diable grows on the seafront on sandy soil. The main and historic terroir of Malherbe, on the other hand, extends on the hillsides around the estate's buildings on clay-schist soils.
