The two Autre-Bord beaches of Martinique
0
0
The French overseas department of Martinique has two Autre-Bord beaches located almost opposite each other on either side of the Caribbean island. The one seen in this photo is the Autre-Bord beach of the south shore of Baie de La Trinité, on the Atlantic coast of Martinique. Its homonym is located in Case-Pilote on the Caribbean coast, about seven miles (twelve kilometers) north of the capital Fort-de-France. The two beaches extend about twenty-five miles (forty kilometers) apart.
