In his Arinthod workshop in the Jura department, Robert Marichy exhibits exceptional pieces such as this very ornate chair with skilfully assembled pieces or the twenty-three turned wood masterpieces of the ‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’ (Best Worker in France) competition that he took on the challenge of reproducing. He also collects some favorite items visible on the shelves in the background. Among them, a collection of egg cups and eggs in one hundred and ten different species which illustrates the variety of the woods worked by this boxwood lover.
