Kudu's horns
1
0
Only male kudus have horns. They start to grow from 6 months in young individuals, and the spiral horns grow throughout their life. The longest horns may reach up to 6ft (1.8m), but are usually about 4ft (1.20m) long. As males are running away, they lift their muzzle and lay their horns on their neckline to prevent them from getting caught in branches.
