The Côte de Nuits vineyard stretches for 15,5 miles. Its slopes are oriented towards the south-east. The Côte de Nuits mainly produces red wines, from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The soil, a determining element in wine culture, is made up of various geological layers and the altitude of the territory varies from 200 to 380 meters. In the Côte de Nuits vineyard, the wines vary from one municipality to another. In order to characterize each specificity, “Climats” have been created.
