The Mill of Verzenay was built on Mont-Bœuf in 1818 by the Tinot-Vincent couple. Two turns and two buildings allowed to simultaneously grind two categories of cereals. It became an observation post during the 1914-18 war, with the digging of underground galleries, concrete chambers, etc. It was an observation post for the Americans during WWII. It was restaured in 1949. Framing, carpentry and painting work were undertaken and the four wings redone and fixed. It is classified as a historical monument.
