The 7 Hérisson Waterfalls, one of the largest natural sites in the region

A listed natural site, the Hérisson Waterfalls are part of the Grands Sites de France network since 2017. Located in the heart of Haut-Jura, in the lakes region, the Hérisson has its source at Saut Girard. On a course of 3.7 kilometers, this water course offers 31 jumps and 7 waterfalls. The 7 Hérisson Waterfalls are: the Eventail (the largest), the Grand Saut, the Gour Bleu, the Château Garnier, the Saut de la Forge, the Moulin Jeunet and the Saut Girard.
