Pottery craft is one of the most prominent features of Lenca culture. In western Honduras, Lenca women use the clay of the surrounding mountain clay to create everyday objects entirely handmade, as tableware or vases. Then they sell their products on the local markets of the nearest towns, in addition to crops produced by their husbands.
