The turner’s lighting
2

Robert Marichy's lighting when he turns wood pieces is like his workshop, traditional and minimalist. His lathe is placed right under the light source which illuminates it from above. Many turners prefer to be able to focus the halo of light on a specific spot of the piece they are working on and use swing-arm accent lamps that they attach to a bracket parallel to the bench.
