Young men wishing to become raseteurs and discover the basics of the raset art must join a dedicated school. The apprenticeship there lasts two years on average and begins with the theoretical basics before moving on to practice with actual bulls in an arena. For safety purposes, the bulls' horns are equipped with protection at their ends so as not to injure the novices. In the arena, the student is recognizable by his outfit composed of blue pants and a white T-shirt.
