More than a third (36.3%) of the territory of the village of Ménerbes in the Vaucluse department is devoted to agriculture. This agricultural area of the Calavon plain is mainly occupied by fruit crops (cherries, melons) and market gardens as well as by vines dedicated to the production of Côtes-du-Luberon AOC (Controlled Designation of Origin), Pays d'Aigues wines, or table grapes. On the hillside, some olive and mushroom groves also prosper in the underground galleries of the former stone quarries.
