Since 2021, the ports of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris have been united within a single establishment, Haropa Port. The largest river port in France, the large port on the Seine axis is the second largest in Europe. More than 20 million tonnes of goods are transported each year. It is also the world’s leading inland tourist port. Various areas of the Seine have been developed, such as the Gros Caillou port in the 7th arrondissement, which has been converted into a pedestrian zone over 600 metres, between the Pont de l’Alma and the Pont des Invalides. Numerous floating restaurants are moored near tourist sites such as the Eiffel Tower or the Alexandre-III bridge.
