The Port de La Favière, which juts out into the Mediterranean Sea on the Var coastline, constitutes the marina of Bormes-les-Mimosas. Its design and the modern architecture of the buildings that line its quays contrast with the heart of the medieval village implanted a few kilometers from the coast on the slopes of the Massif des Maures. The port adjoins the 2,230 ft (680 m) expanses of sand of La Favière beach (left), the largest and most frequented in Bormes-les-Mimosas, and separates it from Anglade beach (right).
